Doosan Bobcat is reinforcing its commitment to corporate social responsibility through community engagement across the globe.
Doosan Bobcat announced on the 26th that it is launching its global community engagement program, ‘Doosan Bobcat Community Days’. This year, more than 700 employees from 12 countries—including Korea, the United States, the Czech Republic, France, China, India, the UAE, and South Africa—are participating in activities aimed at enhancing local community welfare.
In Korea, more than 100 employees took part in a diverse range of volunteer efforts. On September 25, 50 employees from the Seongnam headquarters contributed to biodiversity preservation at Geumto Mountain through eco-exploration activities. At Incheon, where the forklift plant is located, 40 employees visited Boramae Children’s Center to assist with facility maintenance. Doosan Mottrol—which became part of Doosan Bobcat last year—dispatched 20 employees in Changwon to clean storm drains in Seongsan-gu.
Similar activities were carried out overseas at over 20 sites. Local employees engaged in initiatives such as pallet upcycling, removing invasive species, and protecting marine ecosystems. In certain regions, Doosan Bobcat’s equipment—including loaders and excavators—were utilized to boost the efficiency of volunteer activities such as stump and rock removal, playground and park trail construction, baseball field maintenance, and tree planting.
“Doosan Bobcat Community Days is a meaningful opportunity to strengthen our connection with the communities where we live and work.” said Scott Park, CEO and Vice Chairman of Doosan Bobcat. “Our employees will continue to build on these efforts, starting with small actions that will ultimately contribute to a more sustainable future,” added Park.
