Doosan Bobcat Q3 Profit Rises as Demand Rebounds in Key Markets

Doosan Bobcat reported on the 30th that third-quarter revenue rose 17.1% from a year earlier to USD 1.529 billion, while operating profit increased 6.7% to USD 98 million. Net profit increased 27.5% to USD 60 million, driven by improved performance and a one-off corporate tax refund.
Growth was led by recovering demand in North America and Europe, along with a favorable base effect from last year. Revenue in North America rose 17%, while the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region also grew 16%. Revenue in Asia, Latin America, and Oceania (ALAO) fell 9% due to weaker demand.
By segment, Compact Equipment revenue grew 20%, supported by base effects. Portable Power rose 16%, while Material Handling decreased 9%.
Net cash increased by USD 141 million from the end of last year, reflecting continued strong cash flow generation.
Additionally, Doosan Bobcat declared a quarterly dividend of KRW 400 per share, maintaining its shareholder return policy of a minimum annual dividend of KRW 1,600 per share.
