- Vice Chairman Scott Park: “We’ll combine AI, autonomy, electrification and connectivity to create new jobsite standards”
Doosan Bobcat showcased next-generation technologies for compact construction equipment at CES 2026 Media Day in Las Vegas on January 5.

On this day, Scott Park, Vice Chairman and CEO of Doosan Bobcat and Joel Honeyman, Vice President of Global Innovation, presented AI-enabled solutions designed to boost jobsite productivity. These technologies simplify equipment control, minimize downtime, and actively adapt to challenging site conditions.
Doosan Bobcat introduced “Bobcat Jobsite Companion,” the compact equipment industry’s first AI voice control system. Operators can issue voice commands to manage over 50 functions, such as attachment settings, engine speed, lights, and radio. Supported by Doosan Bobcat’s proprietary AI large language model, the system runs entirely, enabling real-time responsiveness without reliance on cloud connectivity.
Honeyman stated “Jobsite Companion lowers the barrier to entry for new operators while helping experienced professionals work faster and more precisely. It’s not just smarter technology; it’s a smarter experience that puts expert-level guidance directly in the cab.”
Doosan Bobcat also announced Service.AI, an AI-powered service and support platform designed to minimize equipment downtime by giving dealers and technicians instant access to Bobcat’s model-specific repair manuals, warranty information, diagnostics, and service histories. Through voice or text input, it guides users through efficient troubleshooting to minimize repair time and downtime.
Park noted, “For nearly 70 years, Bobcat has led the compact equipment industry by solving real problems for real people. By combining AI, autonomy, electrification and connectivity, Doosan Bobcat is creating technology that empowers people, simplifies work and sets a new jobsite standard for the industry.”

Doosan Bobcat also introduced:
▲ BSUP(Bobcat Standard Unit Pack): Modular, fast-charging battery packs compatible across equipment types and OEMs
▲ RogueX3 concept: Flexible design concept model offering options for cab or no cab, wheels or tracks, and diverse power sources—electric, diesel, hybrid, or hydrogen
▲ Radar-based collision warning and avoidance system that detects obstacles and actively slow or stop a machine
▲ Advanced Display Technology providing 360° visibility, alerts, and operational data through transparent and auto-tint touch screens
All of these technologies form an integrated ecosystem, several are advancing toward commercialization. Doosan Bobcat will showcase these innovations at the Doosan Group booth from the opening of CES 2026 on January 6.
